Falcon girls soccer falls to PA, Catty, ND

While the Salisbury girls soccer team’s offense continues to struggle this season, the defense has played pretty well.

In the Falcons’ eight games, the Lady Falcons (0-8-0 Colonial, 0-8-0 overall) have allowed 33 goals which is slightly inflated by an 8-0 loss to powerhouse Northwestern Lehigh.

Goalkeeper Alex Miller, a senior, has been part of the defensive success. In the most recent loss to Pen Argyl, Miller made 10 saves as she was peppered with shots throughout the game as the Green Knights won a 5-0 meeting between the two teams. Salisbury fell in close games in a 1-0 loss to Catasauqua and a 3-0 loss to Notre Dame Green Pond.

The upcoming schedule has games against Lehighton (3-3-0 Schuylkill, 3-4-0 overall) and Palisades (6-0-0, 7-0-0).
