Barbara L. Weaver, 83, of Germansville, died Sept. 23, 2023, in Phoebe Healthcare Center, Allentown.

She and her husband, Robert Weaver, were married 62 years.

Born Oct. 12, 1939, in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late George O. and Lillian (Ramer) Keiser Roth.

A 1957 graduate of Slatington High School and a 1960 graduate of Sacred Heart School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Emergency Department for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by children Lori Weaver of New Tripoli, Craig Weaver (Lynn) of Germansville, Missy Weaver (Duane Kerr) of Schnecksville, Stacey Rice (Robert Jr.,) of Allentown; grandchildren Shani Hohneck (Justin), and Derrick and Erica Rice; step-grandchildren Amy Murphy (Tom), Brian Follweiler; step-great-grandchildren Jonah, and Ella Murphy; nieces Judy Bredahl (Dale), and Cindy Keiser.

She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Keiser (Margaret); sisters Grace Roth and Helen Apple (Elwood); and nephew Thomas Keiser Sr.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Church Cemetery, Heidelberg Township.
