Whitehall-Coplay School District recently organized a Zephyr spirit wear drive.

“We are asking for gently used Zephyr wear that will be passed down to our next generation of Zephyrs,” said Michelle Khouri, WCSD registrar/community relations.

There will be two days for donation drop-offs. At 7 p.m. Oct. 5, you can donate your spirit wear at the Zephyr Sports Complex, where a collection box will be placed at the entrance. During this time, the Whitehall High School boys soccer team will face Parkland High School.

At 7 p.m. Oct. 6, collection boxes will be located at the north and south stadium entrances at Zephyr Stadium. The WHS football team will play Nazareth Area High School during the homecoming game.

“We are incredibly excited to cultivate and pass along Zephyr pride to the newest generation of students,” said Melissa Arifaj, supervisor of ELA and humanities. “We are really emphasizing the importance of community, and this small but impactful gesture will put Zephyr gear in the hands of our youngest learners and the future of our school and community.”
