We are officially into fall and school and all the fun activities are in full force. Fundraisers have come home and this year is off to an amazing start.

Salisbury Middle School will hold its back to school open house 6:45-8:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Use this time to meet your child’s teacher and learn about what they will be doing this year.

Salisbury Elementary School will hold its next Falcon proud T-shirt day Sept. 29. Show off those new shirts!

SES will hold its Color Run Sept. 30. The week leading up to that event will have theme days as follows: Monday was Fanatic Day (favorite sports team apparel), Tuesday was Mismatch Day, Wednesday is Classic Color Day (kindergarten – red, first – blue, second – green, third – yellow, fourth – orange, staff – purple), Thursday is Tie-Dye or Rainbow Day, Friday is school T-shirt day.

On the day of the Color Run the fun starts 3 p.m. with a glow party followed by the Color Run 4:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase for cash only. Salisbury High School boys basketball will hold open gyms 3-5 p.m. on the following Mondays and Wednesdays: Sept. 27, Oct. 2, Oct. 4, Oct. 11, Oct. 16, Oct. 18, Oct. 23, Oct. 25, Oct. 30, Nov. 1, Nov. 6 and Nov. 8. The Salisbury Township ESL teachers will be holding English as a Second Language classes for parents and guardians at SHS. Classes will be held 5:45-6:45 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 4, 11, 25 and Nov. 1, 8 and 15. These six classes will be free for parents and guardians of Salisbury Township School District students. You must register for these classes on the district website.

The Devonshire drop-off site will be open Sept. 28 and 30 and the Franko site will be open Oct. 2, 5 and 7. Hours will remain 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
