Ronald S. Schnyder, 83, of Lower Macungie Township, died Sept. 18, 2023. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Malcolm D. and Arlene M. (Lilly) Schnyder.

He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1958 and later from Penn State University with an associate degree in tool design technology.

For 37 years, he worked as a mechanical designer for Air Products, retiring in 2003.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting and golf.

He was a member of Macungie Fire Co., Rural Sportsmen’s Association, Alburtis Rod and Gun Club, Breinigsville VFW 8282, Macungie Veterans Association, Citizens Fire Co. #2, Emmaus and a lifetime member of Wescosville Fire Co.

He is survived by a son, Troy and his wife, Sharon; granddaughters, Marlena and Nina. He was predeceased by a brother, Terry.
