Rollover causes traffic delays

PRESS PHOTO BY JIM MARSH Traffic is diverted by Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company fire police away from 24th Street in Salisbury Township, near Lindbergh Avenue, for three hours Sept. 21, after a tractor trailer overturned after failing to negotiate a roadway curve. WSVFC and Emmaus Fire Department firefighters had to use hydraulic cutting tools to cut apart the vehicle cab to rescue the driver. Two heavy-duty tow trucks from Houser Truck Service, Allentown, required more than two hours to upright and tow away the truck.
