Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 4

An animal complaint in the unit block of Cambridge Place was addressed.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 700 block of Limestone Street.

Police investigated a littering/dumping report involving trash on a porch in the 200 block of Howertown Road.

SEPT. 5

A security check was conducted at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Officers assisted a citizen at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a driver was cited for a traffic violation.

Domestic disturbances were investigated in the 100 block of Race Street, between a boyfriend and girlfriend, and twice at the same residence in the 600 block of Front Street, between a male and female. The latter included a referral for a protection-from-abuse order. No arrests were made.

SEPT. 6

Traffic violations occurred at Fourth and Bridge streets, on Front Street, at Pine and St. John streets and on Second Street, with the driver cited.

SEPT. 7

Traffic violations occurred at Front and Pine streets, on Pine Street and in the 900 block of Race Street.

An odor complaint in the 600 block of Front Street was investigated.

The theft of a package from a residence in the unit block of Front Street was reported.

Animal complaints at the same residence in the 500 block of East Wood Street had police at the scene. Each case was referred to an animal control officer.

SEPT. 8

Traffic violations took place at Front and Pine streets and First Avenue and Pine Street.

A juvenile missing from the 1000 block of Fourth Street was later located.

Police conducted a student transport to Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

In the 500 block of Walnut Street, officers conducted a welfare check.

SEPT. 9

A child reported missing from the 300 block of Wood Street was later found.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a domestic disturbance involved no arrests.

Officers responded to a civil matter involving a property issue in the 100 block of Race Street.

SEPT. 10

Domestic disturbances occurred in the 700 block of Limestone Street, involving a verbal dispute between housemates, and in the 400 block of Front Street. No arrests were made.
