Arrowhead Park equipment well received in Upper Milford

Angela Ashbrook of the Upper Milford Recreation Committee spoke about the new upgrades to Arrowhead Park during the Sept. 7 Upper Milford Township Supervisors’ meeting, which includes new play structures for the younger members of the community.

“Residents really like it,” Ashbrook said.

Light in the Night Safe Zone Block Party will take place Oct. 21 at the township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St., Zionsville. Organizer Marjorie Geissinger asked and received from the supervisors the use of the building, as well as fire police from Western District Fire Company.

Supervisors approved a time extension for Engelman Tract/Twin Run Subdivision until Oct. 31. This provides a monthlong extension to the project.

A motion was also carried allowing for the planning module approval Resolution 2023-023 for Fields at Twin Run Subdivision.

A request from Western District Fire Company Chief Michael Kline to move cap funds from class to prime was approved unanimously.

The next Upper Milford Township Supervisors meeting was 7 p.m. Sept. 21.
