Allen/East Allen townships: Seiple Farms open for fall fun

It’s pumpkin-picking time at Seiple Farms, 5761 Nor-Bath Blvd., Bath. Pumpkin season and the corn maze is open through Oct. 29.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will host a German tea party 2-4 p.m. Oct. 1. Bring your favorite tea cup; cups will be available for purchase as well.

Wildlands Conservancy will be hosting its fall 2023 photography contest, starting Oct. 1. Celebrating all 14 of the Wildlands Conservancy nature preserves, entries will be accepted in a number of categories, including landscapes, macro, fauna, flora, family and friends.

Your subject can be anything, if it is appropriate and falls under the nature category. The group strongly encourages landscape and flora photos taken this fall.

The contest will end 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be holding a breakfast 8-11 a.m. Oct. 15. It is open to the public.

There is a cost for adults.

The Horner’s Cemetery Historic Society committee will next meet 1 p.m. Oct. 21 at Horner’s Cemetery, 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township.

The GWHS campus is open for free tours of the three historic buildings, grounds and the new museum.

Tours will be 1-3 p.m. Oct. 21 and Nov. 18. No reservations are needed.
