Are you considering joining or currently serving on a nonprofit board and want to become a more informed participant? Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is offering LEAD Now; a 5-part leadership training program that provides relevant guidance on nonprofit board service. Each of the 5 sessions is a stand-alone session. This program is virtual, and each class time is 4-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Oct 10-Nov 7. Register at www.volunteerlv.org/LEAD-Now. Keep Oktoberfest guests hydrated with one of the widest-ranging selections of beer in the Lehigh Valley! Hosted by ArtsQuest, you can listen to traditional music and meet new people as you fill our signature Oktoberfest mugs and check guest IDs. Shifts available 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct 6-8, Oct 13-15. Be part of a community that champions second chances and help participants to succeed in the Cybersecurity Certification program. Cyberchance needs volunteers for numerous tasks in cybersecurity training, mentorship, and career development opportunities. No specific skill set is required. Volunteer for our Designer Purse Bingo Fundraiser 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 8th at Lincoln Elementary School. Tasks include assisting with set-up, selling food & specials boards, distributing prizes, etc. Lunch will be provided. Hosted by Northeast Community Center, Bethlehem. Minimum age 15.
