Marlene Hein, 80, of Fountain Hill, died Sept. 1, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late William and Constance (Husser) Danner. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Hein Sr. for 58 years.

She worked at Downs of the Lehigh Valley for many years until she retired. She worked for the former Alice Kay Dress Shop in the Westgate Mall for many years, also.

She was a parishioner of Holy Ghost R. C. Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by three children, Thomas Jr. and wife Tracy, Danielle and Cassandra Pietkiewicz and companion Anthony Bivins, a sister, Linda Trively; a brother-in-law, Michael Matlock; four grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Julian Pietkiewicz and Jarrett Hein; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a sister, Renee Matlock.
