LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

K-Kid roundup

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Northampton cross country teams went to the Whitehall Parkway to take on Allentown Central Catholic, Emmaus, and Whitehall.

Both the boys and girls had victories against Whitehall, but came up short against ACC and Emmaus.

The boys were led by Braeden Lower (23rd - 19:43), Abel Veltri (27th - 20:17), Deric Fritzges (29th - 20:24), Edwin Wright (35th - 20:33), and Krystian Komlani (48th - 21:05).

The girls were led by Liv Jusinski (15th - 22:40), Abby Enstrom (29th - 24:13), Rachel Makary (36th - 24:54), Olivia Kuhns (41st - 25:18), and Jocelyn Perl (48th - 25:40).

“The Whitehall Parkway is probably the toughest course we will run all season, so we knew there weren’t going to be any personal records set, but it was a great workout that will help prepare us for the postseason meets at DeSales,” said head coach Dan Benner. “We have a busy week ahead as we host a middle school race at Bicentennial Park on Thursday in which we will honor our Seniors afterward and then on Saturday we travel to Tyler State Park to take part in the Council Rock Invitation.”
