Rachel Mary (Fiorello) Ebbo, 100, died Sept. 12, 2023, peacefully with her daughters by her side at Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley, where she was taken care of so well by an exemplary staff. She was the wife of the late Peter C. Ebbo who died in 1999. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Mary (Centrella) Fiorello.

She graduated from Allentown High School in 1941 and worked as a switch board operator for Bell Telephone, then as a sales associate for Junior Colony in Allentown for 13 1/2 years and then as a unit clerk for Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, for eight years. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by daughters, Cecelia Kemmerer, of Emmaus, Audrey and her husband, John Beers, of Emmaus; granddaughters, Korynn Buss, Lauren Heck; great-grandchildren, the “Buss Boys” Colin and Tanner Buss, Madison and Kayla Heck. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Fiorello; son-in-law, Gary J. Kemmerer.
