Michael “Mick” J. Ondush Jr., 74, of Catasauqua, died Sept. 16, 2023, at his home in Whitehall. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Shankweiler) Ondush for 56 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Michael “Shorty” and Anna Mae (Zoch) Ondush.

He was a Catasauqua High School graduate.

He was a lineman since the age of 17 for PPL until he retired 40 years later.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

He was a golfer at Hideaway Hills Golf Course.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Atkins and husband Jim and Stacey Leonard and husband Brian; a son, Sean and wife Alicia; a brother, Andrew Ondush and wife Bev; a sister, Diana Reppert; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, “Chich” Perdick.

Services are private.
