Dora Butz, 90, of Emmaus, died Sept. 14, 2023, at home.

She and her husband, Donald Butz, were married 70 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Celeste and Ida (Micco) Verzino.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church all her life.

A 1951 graduate of Allentown High School, she was later employed by PP&L and then by Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. for 25 years.

After retiring, she was a transcriptionist for Dr. Mark Shampain.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Donna Butz and Carol Hartz; grandchildren Kristie (Michael), Kory and Keri; and great-grandchildren Charlotte, Jack, Emma and William Frazier.

She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony.

Her services will be private.
