Dora (Verzino) Butz, 90, of Emmaus, died Sept. 14, 2023, at home. She was the wife of Donald Butz to whom she was married for 70 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Celeste and Ida (Micco) Verzino.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church all her life.

She was a graduate of Allentown High School, Class of 1951. She was employed by PP&L and later by Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. for 25 years. After retiring, she worked for Dr. Mark Shampain as a transcriptionist.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Donna, Carol Hartz; grandchildren, Kristie (Michael), Kory, Keri; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Jack, Emma and William Frazier. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
