Debra Jean Brobst, 69, of Northampton, died Sept. 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of LeRoy E. Brobst for 46 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Jack Knauss and Jean Knauss-Graham.
She was a 1972 Northampton High School graduate.
She was the manager of Northampton Banquet and Event Center for 20 years until she retired in 2021. She was previously a lady assistant and preplanning counselor at Schisler Funeral Home Inc., Northampton, for 19 years. She was a hairdresser and beautician for Orr’s Department Store, Bethlehem.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northampton, where she was a Sunday school teacher, sang on the choir and was on the church council.
She was a member of Northampton Exchange Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Holly and husband James Fogel of Hudson, Fla.; a son, Ryan and wife Michelle of Walnutport; two brothers, Scott A. Knauss and wife Linda of Womelsdorf and Terry L. Knauss and wife Carol of Hellertown; two sisters, Susan E. Reed and Diane C. and husband Stephen Weslosky, all of Northampton; five grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail and husband Zachary Beckman, Rebecca, Ethan and Grant; nieces; and nephews.
