Fleeing or attempting to elude police
A 44-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 9 in the 400 block of South Fourth Street for allegedly fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, escape, resisting arrest or other law enforcement and stop signs and yield signs violations, according to Emmaus police.
Accidents involving personal injury
A 54-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged July 28 with alleged accidents involving death or personal injury, accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property, duty to give information or render aid and careless driving following an accident at the intersection of South Seventh Street and Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police.
Retail theft
A 37-year-old female, of Macungie, was arrested July 19 for alleged retail theft, third offense, in an incident at Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police.
A 65-year-old female, of Hamburg, was arrested July 19 for alleged retail theft, second offense less than $150, at Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police.
A 40-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested July 20 for alleged retail theft, first offense under $150, at Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police.
A 35-year-old female, of Allentown, was arrested July 21 for alleged retail theft, first offense over $150, at Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police.
A 15-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 3 for alleged retail theft of more than $150, according to Emmaus police.
Someone removed two bottles of alcohol, valued at $231.09, from the retailer Fine Wine & Good Spirits, 1325 Chestnut St., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 19.
Public drunkenness
A 56-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested Aug. 11 in the area of South Fifth Street and Jubilee Street for alleged public drunkenness, according to Emmaus police.
PFA violation
A 50-year-old male, of Bloomsburg, was arrested July 23 for an alleged protection from abuse violation, according to Emmaus police.
Burglary
Someone broke in and removed numerous items at a residence in the 1000 block of Cold Stream Circle, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 21.
Theft
A 15-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested in the 500 block of Jubilee Street July 14 for alleged theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, according to Emmaus police.
A 15-year-old female, of Emmaus was arrested July 24 for alleged theft by unlawful taking or disposition, according to Emmaus police.
Someone removed a piece of equipment, valued at $1,700, from Gardner Cryogenics, 801 Broad St., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 20.
Someone removed a bicycle, valued at $900, from a residence in the 500 block of Furnace Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 24.
Someone removed a package from the porch of a residence in the unit block of North Third Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 2 and the package contained clothing valued at $180.
Someone accepted payment of $65 sent for an item sold online without sending the item to the person who bought it, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 11.
Fraud
Someone demanded $5,000 in gift cards in a online computer repair scam at a residence in the 300 block of North Second Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 14.
Theft from vehicle
Someone broke the window of a vehicle parked at Emmaus Community Park, Chestnut Street, and removed a purse containing multiple person items, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 23.
Someone removed $10 in change from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Furnace Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 14.
Someone forcibly entered a vehicle in the unit block of South Fourth Street and removed a box with books and miscellaneous items inside, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 26.
Two people allegedly entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of East Greenleaf Street and removed a phone valued at $300, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 2.
Someone removed a gas cap, valued at $30, from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Main Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 11.
Attempted theft from vehicle
Two people allegedly attempted to enter two vehicles parked in the 900 block of Buttonwood Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 11. No items were found to be missing from the vehicles.
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Evergreen Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 5. No items were found to be missing from the vehicle.
Criminal mischief
A vehicle trunk was damaged with a screwdriver in the 100 block Main Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 11.
The passenger door of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Main Street was damaged, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 26 and damage was estimated to be $1,000.
A door frame was damaged in the 400 block of North Fifth Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 22.
