George T. Holderman Jr., 71, of Whitehall, died Sept. 10, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Kromer) Holderman for 33 years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George T. Sr. and Pauline (Schneck) Holderman.
He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam era.
He was a truck driver for J.P. Mascaro, Allentown, for 30 years. He was then a truck driver for Waste Management for five years before retiring.
He was a member of the Northampton American Legion where he participated in the pool league.
He is survived by four sons, Eugene Holderman of Massachusetts, Brian Holderman of Whitehall, George Holderman III and wife Rebecca of Bethlehem and Thomas Holderman of Slatington; seven daughters, Dawn Sutter and husband Brian of Schnecksville, Wendy Pedigree and husband Kerry of Lehighton, Kimberly Losch of Bradenton, Fla., Heather Beltz and husband Eric of Whitehall, Heather Schanewolf and husband John Jr. of Northampton, Vicki Irwin and husband Carl of Whitehall and Jessica Musser of Whitehall; a brother, Herman Holderman and wife Terri of Coplay; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Nevin and David Holderman; and two grandsons, Brian and Owen
There will be a calling time starting 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., Sept. 15 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
