Whitehall Fire Department’s opening weekend for the Haunted Parkway is 7-11 p.m. Sept. 29 and 30 and continues every Friday and Saturday in October at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St. Free parking and refreshments will be available.

Tickets for this cash-only event will be sold at Whitehall Parkway each day of the event. Admission is free for children ages 5 and under.

Haunted Parkway’s trick or treat and scare-free hayride will take place 4-6 p.m. Oct. 7. Children and adults are invited to arrive in costume and bring bags, buckets or baskets for Halloween candy.

Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Egypt, will hold its annual basket party 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 15. Homemade food will be served throughout the event.
