Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 21

A traffic violation occurred in the 800 block of Walnut Street. A verbal warning was issued.

Officers checked on the welfare of individuals in the 700 block of Front Street and the 200 block of Church Street.

In the 500 block of East Wood Street, an animal complaint was addressed.

Disturbances took place in the 300 block of Church Street, involving a mental health issue, and the 500 block of Front Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the unit block of Covington Place.

AUG. 22

A dispute between a landlord and tenant occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

AUG. 23

In the 300 block of Liberty Street, a neighbor dispute, involving an animal complaint, was investigated.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of East Wood Street.

AUG. 24

Traffic violations took place in the 300 block of Race Street, with a verbal warning issued; on Walnut Street, with a verbal warning issued; in the 300 block of Second Street, with a verbal warning issued; and in the 500 block of Front Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check on an individual in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A dog at large in the 100 block of Pine Street was reported.

AUG. 25

Traffic violations occurred on Pine Street, with the driver cited; and at Lehigh and Main streets, with a written warning issued.

A loose dog at South 15th and Race streets was later returned to its owner.

Chance Leak, 30, of Northampton, was arrested in the 100 block of Pine Street for disorderly conduct-hazardous condition.

The unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 300 block of Church Street was reported.

A neighbor issue in the 300 block of Wood Street was investigated.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a noise complaint had police at the scene.

At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., a juvenile issue was handled.

AUG. 26

A juvenile missing from the 200 block of Wood Street was later located, police said.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Fifth and Buttonwood streets.

AUG. 27

A civil matter and disturbance report in the 700 block of Second Street was addressed.

A juvenile missing from the 200 block of Wood Street was later found.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Railroad Street.

AUG. 28

A juvenile missing from the 200 block of Wood Street was later located.

A traffic violation occurred in the 600 block of Front Street.

On Pearl Street, a motor vehicle accident had police at the scene.

Animal complaints were addressed in the 100 and 400 blocks of Front Street and the 300 block of Wood Street.

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 700 block of Third Street.

A protection-from-abuse order was granted in the unit block of Covington Place.

Police investigated a juvenile complaint in the 200 block of Wood Street.

In the 500 block of Poplar Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

Police and the department’s K-9 assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Railroad Street, North Catasauqua.

AUG. 29

A juvenile missing from the unit block of Front Street was reported.

A traffic violation occurred in the 200 block of Church Street.

Police granted a protection-from-abuse order in the unit block of Covington Place.

At Lehigh and Main streets, a reportable motor vehicle accident took place.

Anastasia Maldonado, 30, of Catasauqua, was arrested for harassment in the 300 block of Race Street.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a report of a suspicious person had police at the scene.

AUG. 30

A noise complaint was addressed in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, a mental health report was investigated.

Traffic violations occurred in the 500 block of Front Street and at North Dauphin Street and South Alley, Hanover Township.

The department granted a protection-from-abuse order in the 300 block of Race Street.

In the unit block of Union Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

Suspicious activity in the 500 block of Bethlehem Road was investigated.

AUG. 31

In the 100 block of Walnut Street, officers responded to a noise complaint.

An animal complaint at Faith Drive and High Street was addressed.

Traffic violations took place at Second and Church streets, at Lehigh and Poplar streets, at North Dauphin Street and South Alley, Hanover Township, and in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

Wilson Carabello, 21, of Allentown, was cited for harassment at Lehigh and Poplar streets.

SEPT. 1

A report of suspected fraud/impersonation was investigated in the 700 block of American Street.

Police handled a traffic violation at Howertown Road and Peach Street.

In the 300 block of Union Street, an animal complaint was addressed.

Suspicious activity in the 600 block of Poplar Street had police at the scene.

At Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., a report of juveniles fighting brought out police.

A neighbor dispute took place at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St.

SEPT. 2

Officers conducted a welfare check at/near Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St.

No arrests were made in a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Poplar Street.

A theft occurred in the unit block of Lehigh Street. The item was later recovered.

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, a disturbance involving a patient issue was investigated.

SEPT. 3

Animal complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Canal Street, the 400 block of Church Street and the 200 block of Wood Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a civil matter was investigated.

Police handled a parking complaint at Stonewood Place and Walnut Street.
