Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is planning a chicken barbecue dinner 1-4 p.m. Sept. 16. The dinner includes half of a chicken, baked potato, applesauce, dinner roll and butter. There is a cost.

Zion’s Stone UCC will also be holding a basket social 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 16, with Allentown Municipal Band playing 1 p.m. Food will be available for purchase, including pork barbecue, hot dogs, macaroni salad and baked goods.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be holding a breakfast 8-11 a.m. Sept. 17. It is open to the public.

There is a cost for adults.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will host a tea party 2-4 p.m. Oct. 1. Bring your favorite tea cup; cups will be available for purchase as well.

GWHS is open for free tours of the three historic buildings, grounds and the new museum. Tours are 1-3 p.m. the third Saturday of each month, April through November.

No reservations are needed.
