Center for Animal Health & Welfare

Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. The shelter is working to end pet overpopulation by running a clinic so animals can be spayed or neutered before they go home. For more information, call 610-252-7722 or visit

Sweet Athena is a 9-year-old pit bull terrier/Labrador retriever mix. Don't let her age fool you. She is still a young pup at heart who can be quite silly at times. She loves playing fetch and taking walks. She's also an absolute cuddle bug. Athena would do best in an adult-only without any small pets. This senior gal has been waiting 400 days to find a forever home where she can spend her golden years. We hope that her wait will be over soon.
Three-year-old Chewy is the longest feline resident at the center. It's been nearly 590 days since he was abandoned on our property. With the help of an amazing foster, Chewy has blossomed into a charming cat who loves to be by your side and snuggle. He loves playing with his laser pointer and getting pats and chin scratches. This handsome boy has been working hard to be a good boy and hopes his forever family comes to get him soon.
