PRESS PHOTO COURTESY BASD Long-term school directors across the state were honored by the Pa. School Boards Association (PSBA) at local school board meetings. Four Bethlehem Area school directors were recognized for their years of service. Shannon Patrick, vice president of the Bethlehem Area School District Board of School Directors, received recognition for 12 years of service. Board members Dr. Karen Beck Pooley and Dr. Dean Donaher received recognition for eight years of service. All three were presented certificat adding them to the PSBA “Honor Roll of School Board Service.” Colin Dempsey, PSBA Member Outreach Manager of Eastern, PA along with Dr. Jack P. Silva, superintendent of the Bethlehem Area School District, presented each recipient with their certificates and spoke about their dedication to volunteer their service to students, staff, the community and public education.
