UPPER MACUNGIE: Various programs for kids offered at Grange Park

Mighty Kicks is offering an introductory soccer program for children ages 2-7.
This six-week program will take place Sept. 10 through Oct. 15 at Grange Park Pavilion No. 6, 360 Grange Road.
Fall classes for 2-year-olds will be offered from 1-1:30 p.m.; 3- to 5-year-olds class will be 1:40-2:20 p.m.; and 6- to 7-year-olds class will be 2:30-3:10 p.m.
Brian Bleam will offer fall tennis lessons for youngsters ages 7 to 15 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Mondays Sept. 11 until Oct. 9 at Blue Barn Park, 5770 Snowy Orchid Lane.
Participants will need to bring their own racquet and a water bottle.
Healthy Kids Running Series, created by Jeff Long, founder and president of Pattison Sports Group, is offering a fun, five-week running series for ages 2-14, designed for kids to get active, feel accomplished and lay the foundation for a “Get up and Go” lifestyle.
The next five-week series will be 4 p.m. on Sept. 24, and Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22 in the grassy area at Grange Park behind Pavilion No. 1, 360 Grange Road.
Rain date for Oct. 22 is Oct. 29.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will present its Harvest Moon Festival at 7 p.m. Sept. 16.
Live music will be performed 5-7 p.m. by Codi and Stan.
Cub Scout Pack 61 will sell food.
There will also be crafts, a basket raffle, games and more.
Bring fresh garden vegetables or canned goods and receive a free raffle ticket.
The more donations, the more tickets received.
All donations benefit Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown, will have a basket social from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 23.
There will be refreshments, bake sale and entertainment.
The social will feature an outdoor band concert by the Municipal Band of Allentown beginning at 1 p.m.
Bring a chair and enjoy the music before and after basket shopping.
More than 150 baskets, six special items, a variety of kids’ baskets and many gift cards from local restaurants and retail stores will be available.
Kids age 10 and younger will receive free tickets for bidding on these baskets when parents buy tickets.
Everyone who brings a donated food item will receive a ticket toward winning the paper products basket.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing.
