LeadingAge PA, a leading voice for senior services in Pennsylvania, recently awarded 33 scholarships totaling nearly $40,000 through the 2023 Professional Development Scholarship program.

Among the recipients are:

Manuela Brandolino, an employee at Phoebe Ministries, Allentown. Brandolino has been working in senior care for 11 years and is studying toward a practical nurse certification at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Rosemary Manna, an employee at Phoebe Ministries Meadow Glen Personal Care Center, Allentown. Manna has been working in senior care for three years and is studying nursing at Montgomery County Community College.

“Retaining and growing qualified workers is essential to our ability to continue serving seniors in Pennsylvania for many years to come,” said Garry Pezzano, LeadingAge PA president and CEO.
