The Catasauqua volleyball team fell to Southern Lehigh, losing 11-25, 17-25, 20-25.

For Catty, Makayla Bird had an ace, a kill and two blocks. Amanda Hunsberger had three kills and a block assist. Kara Gruver had a dig. Maliya Walp had a kill and a block assist while Delaine Pop had an ace, seven assists and two block assists.

Jane Armbruster recorded an ace, a kill and three block assists while Delaney Troxell had an ace, four kills, six blocks and six block assists

Catty fell to Saucon Valley 14-25, 18-25, 14-25.

Makayla Bird had two kills and two blocks. Amanda Hunsberger had two kills and Kara Gruver had an ace.

Maliya Walp added two kills and a block assist. Delaine Popa recorded an ace, 11 assists and two block assists.

Jane Armbruster finished with three kills and three block assists while Delaney Troxell had 14 kills, three blocks and two block assists.

In boys soccer, Catty fell to Lehighton 2-1.

Catty scored first in the game on a Jayden Olivencia goal from Omar Ferre with 1:26 remaining first half.

The Roughs couldn’t keep that momentum though and would give up two second half goals.

Jacib Anthony scored both. The first came on a shot that a Catty defender deflected into the goal. The same thing would happen at the 3:51 mark as another Anthony shot bounced off a defender into the net.

Liam McGinley made eight saves in net in the loss.

In girls soccer, Tamaqua raced to a first half lead and never looked back in a 7-0 shutout over Catasauqua. Sarah Hope recorded a hat trick in the first half and added another goal in the second half.

Kimmy Rudy added two goals and two assist. Sienna Stellfox closed out the scoring for the Lady Raiders (2-1,1-1).

Jaylianna Martinez had 6 saves for Catasauqua.

Catty would fall to Notre Dame 3-2.

Danica Grass of Notre Dame opened the scoring with a first half goal.

The Crusaders would add two more goals in the second half.

Sarah Zambo scored on an assist from Grass and it was Zambo again to make it 3-0 on an assist from Samantha Karwacki.

But, Catty didn’t quit. Faith Daku scored on an assist from Mia Gomes before Daku struck again, thanks to another assist from Gomes.

The Catty field hockey team fell to Southern Lehigh 3-0.

Reese MacIntosh scored all three goals in the win. Assists came from Riley Bartosz, Sierra Giamnattasio and Leah Kramer.

Catty goalies Elizabeth Bass and Sophia Becker saved 18 in the loss.

Moravian Academy was a 5-1 winner over CHS.

Moravian’s Megan Dadio had three goals, Baylee Meischeid and Grayson Domzalski each had one.

Claire Turnbull and Rylin Becker each had one assist in the win.

For Catasauqua, Abigail Antipas scored the team’s goal.

Wilson was a 1-0 winner over Catty.

Wilson’s goal was scored by Zoe Ehlmen in the third period.

Catty Goalie, Sophia Becker had 11 saves.

Palmerton was a 6-3 winner.

Palmerton goals were scored by: Sydney Frantz (3), Tessa Sander (2), and Mackenzie Long.

Catasauqua goals were scored by: Jordan Soltis (2) and Abby Antipas.

Sophia Becker had 12 saves in the loss.
