Three CHS students are needed to fill after-school positions within the CASD. The after-school student worker position will be responsible for collection of trash and recycling from classrooms, light dusting and other duties as assigned. Students would work two hours per day, after classes, on school days.

The rate of pay is $10 per hour.

Interested students should inquire at the administration building for an application packet. Clearances are required.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 8.

There are only a couple days left to purchase your advance ticket for the CASD music department’s gift card bingo, to be held Sept. 9 at CHS, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton. Doors open 11 a.m., and bingo will begin 12:30 p.m.

Your ticket will get you 20 games’ worth of boards. There will also be 50/50 games and basket raffles.

Food and desserts will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Tickets are cheaper when purchased in advance.

Any 11th-grade CHS student who is interested in running to become a class officer this academic year should see Mr. Davies in room C226. The deadline to submit your application is no later than 3 p.m. Sept. 12.
