Robert K. Miller Jr., 82 of Bethlehem and formerly of Whitehall, died Aug. 27, 2023, at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Lorraine C. (Kowalski) Voorhees-Miller.

Born in Orefield, he was the son of the late Robert K. Sr. and Ruth J. (Rumble) Miller.

He was a fabric designer for Raxon Fabrics, Allentown, for 46 years before retiring in 2008.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

He enjoyed playing his trumpet with the former Palmertones for several years.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise E. with Lewis Beach of Elkin, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Stephanie and husband Scott Speshok of Bethlehem; a stepson, David Voorhees and husband Michael Gambogi; and two granddaughters, Brianna and Brooke.
