A downed wire brought police to the area of Blackberry and Liberty streets.

A motor vehicle accident brought police to the 1000 block of Main Street, Northampton.

Thefts from vehicles on Buttonwood, Fourth and Fifth streets were investigated.

Police assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Buttonwood Street.

AUG. 10

Officers responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

A suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Green Street was reported.

Police assisted citizens on Front and Fourth streets.

Suspicious activity in the 400 block of Buttonwood Street was investigated.

Police were on the scene of an animal complaint at Arch and Front streets.

A parking complaint in the 1100 block of Fourth Street was investigated.

Officers assisted citizens on Railroad, Main, Fourth and Grove streets.

A hit and run brought police to the 1000 block of Howertown Road.

Traffic violations occurred at Howertown Road and Grove Street and at Palomino Drive and Howertown Road.

Police were on the scene of a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Woodmont Lane.

A number of alarms brought police to the 1400 block of Main Street.

Officers investigated a report of check fraud in the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

Officers made an arrest in the area of Howertown Road and Grove Street.
