Dean H. Weber, 88, of Macungie, formerly of Emmaus, died Aug. 30, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Loretta G. (Thompson) Weber for the last four years and the late Nancy A. (Bayliss) Weber. Born in Schnecksville, he was the son of the late Jacob M. and Esther C. (Holben) Weber.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #35 and served as a police officer, with the rank of sergeant for the Borough of Emmaus, for 28 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.
He was a 24-year volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown campus.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Deanna K. Kohn and her partner, Charles Wrecsics, of Coopersburg, Susan N. Miller and her husband, Thomas, of Springtown; brother, Dale P. and his wife, Jeanne, of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Andrew W. Kohn, Amanda K. Strunk, Alexander T. Miller, Austin D. Miller, Ethan J. Miller; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Piper, Davis Dean, Chloe, Grayson.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 7 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sept. 7 in the funeral home.
