Catasauqua: Reservoir Hill to perform Sept. 8

The free summer concert series continues Sept. 8 with the band Reservoir Hill at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

The rescheduled, rained-out concerts will include Time Whys Sept. 15, Boondock Barons Sept. 22 and Third Hand Trio Sept. 29. The bands perform 7-10 p.m.

Get out your lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a fun evening!

The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., is having a basket social 5-8 p.m. Sept. 8 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 9. There will be food available for purchase, a bake sale and an additional 50/50 raffle.

Tickets are available at the door.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., announced Sunday school begins Sept. 10 with Rally Day.

Classes will be available 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the chapel for children 3 years old to middle school age.

Invite your family, neighbors and friends. There are experienced teachers, as well as food and fun for everyone.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be holding a flea market and basket raffle 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 23. All flea market sales are by donation.

Featured will be a basket raffle; food, including pickled beets; and a bake and book sale on the main floor. There will be loads of flea market treasures in the basement.
