Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 5

A vehicle stolen from the 200 block of Poplar Street was reported.

No arrests were made during a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Second Street.

AUG. 6

Animal complaints were addressed at American and Peach streets, involving a loose dog, and in the 200 block of Circle Drive, involving a loose dog. In the latter case, the dog was reunited with its owner.

Officers investigated reported thefts from vehicles in the 700 block of American Street and the 500 block of Pine Street.

Parking complaints were addressed at Howertown Road and Peach Street, with three vehicle tickets, and in the 200 block of Peach Street, with one vehicle ticketed.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a vehicle was towed from the roadway during a traffic complaint.

AUG. 7

A vehicle stop was conducted at Front and Linden streets.

Police assisted with a warrant service in the 300 block of Green Street, Bath, and a citizen with mental health issues in the 1200 block of Second Street, North Catasauqua.

A parking complaint in the 600 block of Front Street was addressed.

AUG. 8

Jason Kaintz, 41, of Allentown, was arrested for simple possession on two counts and drug paraphernalia on seven counts when police responded to a report of an unwanted person in the 500 block of Front Street.

At Front and School streets, an animal complaint was investigated.

Officers addressed a traffic complaint at American and Peach streets.

Criminal mischief - rocks thrown at a vehicle - in the 500 block of Walnut Street was reported.

AUG. 9

An unwanted person in the 100 block of Front Street was reported.

Police assisted citizens in the 500 block of Third Street and at the same residence in the 100 block of Front Street twice. Police also investigated a disturbance at the latter address.

In the 300 block Bridge Street, officers addressed a report of a missing cat.

AUG. 10

The theft of money in the 200 block of Second Street was reported.

A domestic dispute took place in the 100 block of Front Street.

A dog found in the 100 block of Front Street was later returned to its owner.

In the 200 block of Church Street, a theft took place.

Officers responded to a report of a loose dog in the 200 block of Front Street.

An adult missing from the 500 block of Fourth Street was reported. The individual was later found.

Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Walnut Street was investigated.

AUG. 11

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

A disturbance in the unit block of Covington Place was investigated.

At Delaware Avenue and Lehigh Street, a traffic stop was conducted.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 400 block of Bridge Street and the 600 block of Front Street.

Police responded to a custody issue in the 700 block of Third Street. The case also involved a disturbance, with no arrests made.

Police assisted citizens in the 800 block of Walnut Street and the 600 block of St. John Street.

An unwanted person in the 500 block of Front Street was reported.

AUG. 12

Officers assisted citizens in the 500 block of Howertown Road and the 500 block of Bath Avenue.

A verbal warning was issued during a traffic stop on Second Street.

At Second and Chestnut streets, a vehicle was ticketed during a parking complaint.

AUG. 13

Officers conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Race Street.

In the 800 block of Race Street, a vehicle blocking a garage was reported.

Police responded to a child custody dispute in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

A report of an unwanted person in the 100 block of Canal Street had police at the scene.

AUG. 14

Officers conducted a welfare check at North 14th and Walnut streets.

Temporary protection-from-abuse orders were granted in the 100 block of Front Street and the 100 block of Canal Street.

A burglary at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., was investigated.

In the 600 block of Poplar Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

Police assisted a citizen in the unit block of South 15th Street and North Catasauqua officers at Arch and Crane streets, North Catasauqua.

AUG. 15

Animal complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Front Street, the 100 block of Liberty Street and the 200 block of Wood Street.

Traffic violations took place at Race and Front Streets, with the driver cited, and at Second and Peach streets, with the driver cited.

Police conducted welfare checks in the unit block of Stonewood Place and at Second and Walnut streets.

A registration plate was seized on South 14th Street.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Front Street.

AUG. 16

An animal complaint in the 200 block of Race Street was addressed.

Police investigated a disturbance, which involved a protection-from-abuse service, in the unit block of Covington Place.

An officer was injured in the 1600 block of Valley Center Parkway, Bethlehem.

A civil matter, involving a landlord and tenant issue, occurred in the 700 block of Third Street.

AUG. 17

Animal complaints were addressed in the 700 and 800 blocks of Front Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident at Lehigh and Main streets had police at the scene.

Officers assisted citizens in the 700 block of Race Street and the 700 block of Third Street.

A report of harassment by communication in the 400 block of Poplar Street was filed with the department.

Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of Bethlehem Road.

AUG. 18

Police conducted a welfare check at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of Bethlehem Road.

At Front and Race streets, a disorderly conduct report had police at the scene.

AUG. 19

Harassment in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was reported.

Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 200 block of Main Street, Catasauqua.

AUG. 20

Samara Garcia, 21, of Catasauqua, was arrested in the 100 block of Canal Street for indirect criminal contempt during a domestic disturbance investigation that involved a protection-from-abuse violation.
