The 295th anniversary festival of Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement, hosted by Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society, will begin 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township. Tours will be held. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
The rain date is set for Sept. 10.

Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is having a chicken barbecue dinner 1-4 p.m. Sept. 16. The dinner includes half of a chicken, baked potato, applesauce, dinner roll and butter. There is a cost.

Zion’s Stone UCC will also be holding a basket social 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 16, with Allentown Municipal Band playing 1 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.
