Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center is seeking a photographer or two to capture the magic at the 24th Annual Lehigh Valley Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 7 at Cedar Crest College, Allentown. The K9 Cash 5k Run/1 Mile Pet walk for K9 Kop Project will be held at Delps Park, Danielsville, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on September 16. For this extremely fun and rewarding event, volunteers are needed in shifts to help in several areas: set-up, equipment, basket raffle, and to help the runners, walkers or vendors. Make sure people have food to eat - volunteer with Meals on Wheels! Pick up meals from 1 of 8 sites in the Lehigh Valley & deliver to home-bound seniors & adults with disabilities. Deliveries start at 10 a.m. weekdays & take 60-90 minutes to complete. Full directions and pre-delivery Instructions provided; application and background check required.
