The Northampton girls tennis team recently knocked off East Stroudsburg North 5-1.

In singles action, number-one player Ava Aulisio defeated Imani Quarterman 6-2, 6-1.

Two singles saw Jenna Gower fall to Solomia Bezpalko 6-7 (TB) 4-7, 7-6 (TB) 7-0, 2-6 in what was a very close match.

At three singles Gianna Lorenz topped Sophia Bezpalko 6-3, 6-3.

All three doubles teams picked up victories for the Kids. At two, Mya Cruz and Toni Bubier defeated Madison Quarterman and Brissett Bates 7-5, 6-1.

The three doubles team of Claire Lack and Emily Kemmerer topped Xenia Pelekhach and Gabrielle Greene 6-2, 6-3.

The four doubles team of Ella Flood and Rachel Bottone won over Sophia Piedrahita and Clarys Sanchez 6-0, 6-2.

The girls would fall to Freedom, 6-1.

Three singles player Gianna Lorenz picked up the team’s only win, knocking off Bailey Barber 6-3, 7-5.

The girls also lost to Easton, 6-1.

The Kids lone win came at number-four doubles where Ella Flood and Rachel Bottone defeated Aditri Bidnur and Hirshitha HiKolanda 6-4, 4-6 TB 9-7.

The Northampton golf team improved to 11-0 on the season with a win over Stroudsburg on Monday.

The Kids won 379-436 at Southmoore.

Trent Moyer led the way with a 70.

The Mounties Hunter Probst shot 71 on the day to lead his team.

Northampton’s field hockey team beat Pleasant Valley 6-1.

Grace Roberts scored two goals in the win while Reagan Iasiello, Kendall Iasiello, Ella Steiner and Kyle McFetridge each had one goal. Kendall Iasiello had three assists in the win.

Sara Lesnik scored for the Bears on a penalty stroke.
