A 34-year-old female, of Easton, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of East Emmaus Avenue and South Filbert Street, Salisbury Township, 1:33 a.m. Aug. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI crash

A 53-year-old female, of Easton, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a two vehicle crash on Interstate 78 East near mile marker 59, Salisbury Township, 3:52 a.m. July 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. According to authorities, the motorist also allegedly was texting when her vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the crash scene. The Easton motorist was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was not hurt. Allentown City EMS also responded.
