Paul E. Wetzel, 89, of Emmaus, died Aug. 26, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Jean A. (Stayer) Wetzel. He was the son of the late Richard and Ella (Erdman) Wetzel.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a lifelong mechanic, owning his own business.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife; children, Robert, Richard Larish, Stephanie Latshaw; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda L. Tirjan and a son, Robert S. Larish.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 30, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2451 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley. A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 30 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus.
