Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, is having a takeout chicken barbecue dinner 1-4 p.m. Sept. 16. The dinner includes half chicken, baked potato, applesauce, dinner roll and butter.

In addition to the dinner, there will be a basket social 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 16, with Allentown Municipal Band playing 1 p.m. Food will be available for purchase.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Reminder: The 295th anniversary festival of Craig’s Scotch-Irish Settlement, hosted by Horner’s Cemetery Historical Society, will begin 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at 4965 Nor-Bath Blvd., East Allen Township. The rain date is set for Sept. 10.
