FIRST DAY OF 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR!: Aug. 28 is the first day of school for all BASD students. If you have questions regarding start or end times, please contact your child’s school. For transportation questions, contact BASD Transportation at 610-861-0360.

BACK TO SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: BASD and the Bethlehem Health Department will hold an Immunization Clinic at Broughal MS from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 6. Students under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION: On the second Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a drive-through food distribution at Northeast MS, 1170 Fernwood St. The distribution is open to families of BASD students.

REQUIRED VACCINATIONS: Vaccinations are required for all students, with specific vaccinations needed for students entering the seventh and 12th grades. To schedule a vaccination for your child, contact the Bethlehem Health Department at 610-865-7083.

SCHOOL CLOSED ON LABOR DAY: Bethlehem Catholic HS will be closed Sept. 4.

ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE AUDITIONS: Auditions for the elementary Christmas performance will be held Sept. 10.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: Back to School Night will be held on Sept. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.

ALL SCHOOL CHAPEL FAMILIES WELCOME: Students in grades 1-12 come together Sept. 1 at 9:30 a.m. for an all-school chapel service at Central Moravian Church to welcome the start of the new school year. Families are welcome to attend.
