Robert K. Miller Jr., 82, of Bethlehem and formerly of Whitehall, died August 27, 2023, at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Lorraine C. (Kowalski) Voorhees-Miller.

Born in Orefield, he was a son of the late Robert K. Miller Sr.and the late Ruth J. (Rumbley) Miller.

He was a fabric designer for Raxon Fabrics, Allentown, for 46 years until he retired in 2008.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Whitehall.

He played trumpet for the former Palmertones for several years.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise E. of Lewis Beach, Elkin, South Carolina; a stepdaughter, Stephanie and her husband Scott Speshok of Bethlehem; a stepson, David Vorheese and husband Michael Gambogi; and two granddaughters.

There will be a visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on August 31 and from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., on September 1, all at Schisler Funeral Home Inc., 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
