Joseph V. Kuprewicz, 77, of Whitehall, died Aug. 18, 2023. Born in Landstuhl, Germany, he was a son of the late Wictor and Helen (Zukowski) Kuprewicz. He grew up in Port Alegre, Brazil. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1963.
He was the husband of the late Marie E. (Toth) Kuprewicz for 41 years.
He was an Allentown Central Catholic HS graduate. He spoke fluent Polish, Portuguese and English.
He was in the U.S. Army Medical Lab corps during the Vietnam Era.
He was an extrusion mechanic at B. Braun for 15 years until he retired in 2011. He was a master mechanic at the former Montex Mills. He was a lab chemist at the Lehigh Valley laboratories.
He was raised in the Roman Catholic faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Sonia M. Trump and her husband Michael of Whitehall and Victoria M. Kuprewicz of Catasauqua; three grandchildren, Ethyn Vakoc and Elizabeth and Meredith Trump; and extended family.
He was predeceased by a sister, Regina Maria Brown.
