Jack G. Garland, 80, of Bethlehem Township, died August 19, 2023, in his home. Born in Fountain Hill, he wasae son of the late John B. and Dorothy (Zweifel) Garland. He was the husband of the late Bettyjane (Hartzell) Garland.

He was a 1960 graduate of Liberty H.S.

He was in the United States Air Force.

He worked in the information service department of Bethlehem Steel and EDS for more than 35 years. After that, he worked for Guardian Life Insurance.

He was a bowler and golfer in many leagues.

He was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. at home; nephews; and nieces.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia A. Peters and Marcia J. Garcia.
