Retired South Whitehall Township police chief, Donald K. “Mac” MacConnell, 86, of South Whitehall, died Aug. 18, 2023, surrounded by his family at home.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, and their children Kenny and Keith MacConnell, Coleen Hill, Justin Scotto and Kristin Parlee.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to assist with funeral costs through GoFundMe by searching for ‘Mac’ MacConnell.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
