Paige E. Roth, 61, of Quakertown, died Aug. 14, 2023, in her residence. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Patricia A. (Wiesner) Roth and the late Robert A. Roth.
She was a graduate of Emmaus High School and Cedar Crest College and earned a master’s degree from Marywood University.
She was the first certified recovery specialist at LVHN and started the LVHN Addiction Recovery Services team. She started out volunteering after hours, then engaged with patients in the emergency department in a part-time after hours grant funded position, and then transitioned into her full-time role leading the team. She provided education about substance use and stigma to countless physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, case managers and community members.
She is survived by a daughter, Taylor Leigh Engelman, of Macungie; son, Anthony J. Renaldi and Shannon, of Copper Mountain, Colo.; granddaughter, Sophia; brothers, Mark R. and his wife, Kim, of Macungie, Christopher R., of Orefield; fiance, Raymond Reichert; beloved dog, Jules.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home by either check or cash to help defray funeral expenses.
A memorial visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, 18049.
