Joyce Vogel, 88, of Allentown, died Aug. 8, 2023, in Liza’s House Personal Care, Danielsville, where she had been residing. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Vogel Sr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ida (Oswalt) Bossons.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Schneider Manufacturing, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.

She is survived by three children, Robert R. Vogel Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va., Diane George and husband Danny Sr. of Walnutport and Lori Hilbert and husband John of Lexington, S.C.; four grandchildren, Josh Hilbert and wife Kristi, Jason Hilbert and wife Priscilla, Danny George Jr. and wife Elizabeth and Jenny Wilson and husband Anthony; and nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Julia, Bella, Zoey, Olivia and Abigail.

Services will be private.
