Gerald J. Masavage, 89, of Macungie, died Aug. 17, 2023, at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Adele A. (Pissott) Masavage. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late William and Anna (Klokis) Masavage.
He was a draftsman for the former Bell Labs, and later with AT&T.
He honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield.
He enjoyed playing golf and was an animal lover, especially his dogs. He cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by daughters, Debra Tyndall (Dan), of St. Louis, Mo., Kathleen Keiser (Tim), of Mertztown; son, Paul (Tina), of Morgantown; grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Bruce, Katie, Korey, Madison, Nicholas, Jack; great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Landon, Liam; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Gerald Jr; brother, Joseph; sister, Maryann Payne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 a.m. Aug. 23 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 23 in the church. Arrangements were made by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
