Edward C. Searfass, 87, of Hanover Township, died Aug. 14, 2023. He was the husband of the late Janet H. (Thomas) Searfass for 66 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Clyde E. and Mildred L. (Snyder) Searfass.

He was a 1953 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He worked in customer service for U.S. Air for more than 40 years, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.

He is survived by daughter, Lynn Romig of Allentown; two sisters, Doris Schleicher and Dolores Allen; two grandsons, Joshua and his wife Dionna and Matthew with Melissa Almodovar; seven great-grandchildren, Victoria, Tyler, Imagyn, Sequoia, Elizabeth, Jacob and Jayden; and a great-great-grandson, Jace.

He was predeceased by a son, Michael E.; a brother, Robert J.; and a son-in-law, Richard Romig.
