Coplay Community Days is set for Aug. 25-27 at Coplay Parkway, Second and Keefer streets. There will be a craft fair noon-7 p.m. Aug. 26. The family Splash and Dance party will be 1:30-4 p.m. Aug. 27, featuring deejay Freddie Frederick Jr., followed by a free Aqua Zumba class 4-5 p.m.

The entertainment lineup includes the Aardvarks 7-10 p.m. Aug. 25, Steel Creek 12:30-3:30 p.m. Aug. 26, the Castaways 4-5 p.m. Aug. 26, the Sofa Kings 6-9 p.m. Aug. 26, the Josef Kroboth Band noon-3 p.m. Aug. 27, Sue Rabenold and Michael Scherer 3:30-4:15 p.m. Aug. 27 and Brian Dean Moore 6-9 p.m. Aug. 27.

The Castaways will perform 6-9 p.m. Aug. 30 at Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets.

American Club of Coplay’s adult picnic, for ages 18 and older, is Sept. 9 at the pavilion, 300 Cherry St. Doors will open noon.

Food is served 1-6 p.m., and refreshments are available 1-9 p.m.

A deejay will entertain 2-5 p.m., and the Castaways perform 6-9 p.m.

Coplay Saengerbund’s heritage committee is planning its Oktoberfest for 2-7 p.m. Sept. 10. There is a cost.

The opening parade will be 2:30 p.m. Joe Kroboth will perform 3-7 p.m. Other entertainment will include the Auerhahn Schuhplattler Dancers and a Masskrugstemmen contest.

Enjoy German beer and authentic German food. Wear your lederhosen, vests, hats, drindl, etc.
