Tom and Ellen Wilson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 22.

They were married in 1963 at St. Mary’s Church, West Warwick, R.I.

Tom is the son of the late Edward and Lola Wilson, of Harrisburg, Ill.

Ellen is the daughter of the late John and Ethel Matthews, of West Warrick.

The couple has four children, Christine (Patrick), of Maine; Valerie (Matt), of Delaware; Tom Jr. (Tish), of Indiana, and Scott (Susan), of Emmaus.

They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated with a party in Newport, R.I., during their yearly family vacation.

Tom and Ellen say their greatest accomplishment is their four wonderful children.
